 Thanks for writing this article.  I am in the agriculture industry in Florida and am still learning about all the different social media sites out there.  I always enjoy seeing what the different groups are doing.

I think that the FL Dept of Ag has done a good job of using twitter and facebook to connect with industry and consumer audiences.  They are always posting commodity info, recipes, news and a lot of seasonal cooking stuff. They also give away a lot of freebies on their facebook site which makes it even better :)  FL Farm Bureau also has great tweets for Florida ag as well.  I hope that this article will reach other folks in the ag industry that are not yet "on" social media and get them thinking about it!
