WSJ: Builders' Jerry Howard In Fight for Job
Jerry Howard, CEO of the National Association of Home Builders, is facing an internal association battle regarding the group's position over a tax break which could cost Howard his job, the Wall Street Journal reports.
Executives from the group's largest members are meeting in Chicago today with the NAHB's leadership to discuss potentially ousting Howard, the story says.
An association official wasn't immediately available to comment to National Journal.

Mr. Howard is obviously a man of high principles and vision. He is looking out for the long term financial health of both his large and small members by advocating for the future sustainable healthy growth of his industry, not just for the shortsidedness of immediate profits. His members would do well to recognize this. This integrity is rare in these times when nearly everyone in every industry has his hand out looking for some government bailout.
